Most, if not every, game on itch.io does this. It’s because the publisher is unknown to Windows, meaning they don’t have some kind of company or LLC to represent them to Windows, so it automatically flags the file as malicious.
If you make a game and put it on itch and download your own game that’s been zipped, unzip it and try to run it, the same notification will show for the game you made yourself.
So idk how you made it 1Gb in size, i saw there was .exe file and then in armadillo there was another .exe file (the copy i think) . So i feel like you exported game in folder where a game was already exported.
Didn't run the game bc windows stopped me, which he didn't with other games so i'm not sure if that 1gb is some spyware or what. But I'd look into the size of that, bc it's definitely too big for 7 day jam.
Hey bud, sorry it didn't work out for you. Almost every game I've downloaded for the jam has been stopped by windows. You just have to press learn more and then run anyway. I don't know how many games you've downloaded from itch, but it's kind of odd for you to insinuate I would put spyware in my game, that's not at all the case here.
